The Guild of Guilds is a long-standing guild alliance that has done raid content together for several years. We have some positions (full time and backup) open for one of our raids and are extending invitations to friends and acquaintances of Guild of Guilds members for our second raid, Crusaders of the Dragonflight. You are not required to leave your current guild to join the raid, as we don't want to pry people away from guildmates that they like. 

 

The same level of gear is required of applicants as we have laid out for the Guild of Guilds members of the raid. Your equipment should be a solid mixture of Naxx 25 and Ulduar 10-man Raid gear at a minimum.  We will consider exceptional candidates that are slightly undergeared.  Raid times are Wednesday 6 PM to approximately 9 PM server time and Sunday 5 PM to approximately 8 PM server time (please note: days and raid time per week is currently under review for an increased fall/winter schedule).

 

We require all applicants to fill out the application below and post it separately in the Applications and Recruiting Forum here. Please entitle the post as your character’s name and class/role, and the words CoD Application (ie. Xerveth – Shadow Priest – CoD Application, Adrian – Protection Warrior – CoD Application). Mumble will be used during the raid for proper coordination, but we do not require all raid members to speak, only to be able to use it to listen.

Please - spend some time on your application. Bad grammar and spelling reflects poorly on you, and answers like "raiding is fun" are a waste of our time and yours. A good application can go a long way to telling us about you, and making a good impression.

6. For awarding loot, we use an open bid system, with the class of the lead bidder displayed. We award one point for on-time raid attendance, one point for raid participation, and one point for each boss kill. Is this a system you are okay with?
