Reprise is a 25-man, progression-oriented raid with a relaxed schedule and atmosphere. People who do well in our raid are generally mature individuals with jobs or families that prevent them from committing to a hard core or early raid schedule. We currently raid three nights a week: Weds 7:45-10, Sun 6-10, Monday 7:45-10 (server time, Eastern). Server transfers welcome!

We're currently looking for one main slot healer and three full time backups. Specifically:

  • A main slot healer, paladin or shaman preferred
  • A backup healer with a ranged or melee dps offspec
  • A backup ranged dps with a heal offspec
  • A backup ranged dps of any class

To submit an app you'll need to create a new forum account. Accounts require email authentication before they're created and an officer to approve the account before you'll be able to post. Feel free to tag Gradar, Myaa, Deodan, or Adrine in game by chat or mail to get your account approved.

Please make a new thread in the public forum with your application! The title should be "<Your Character Name> Fordragon's Reprise Application" or something to that affect. We have two raiding groups, so it is important that you specify.

Character and Background Info

1. Character Name:

2. Link to your armory:

3. What is your raiding spec and why did you choose it?

4. What is your raiding experience pre-WotLK and during WotLK?

5. Which guilds have you been in? (Please list the Guildmasters and any other references you'd like.)

6. Are you interested in a backup raider position or a full time raider position?  Full time members are required to join Reprise or one of the other GoG guilds while backup members are not. Backup members are required to be available during raid time in the event they are needed at the last minute but this can be by voice chat or in game on a character.
6.a) Are you familiar with Reprise or one of the other GoG guilds, and if so which ones/how?

6.b) If you are interested in a full time position, why do you want to leave your current guild?

6.c) Do you know anyone who is currently in the Guild of Guilds?

6.d) Do you have alts you might wish to move into a GoG guild?

Raiding Information

We currently raid Weds 7:45-10, Sun 6-10, and Monday 7:45-10.  If new content requires it, we will raid on Thurs from 7:45-10. Sometimes we end a bit earlier or run a bit later (~60 mins before end time, 30 mins after end time).

1. Can you make all of our raid times? Please note any potential foreseeable scheduling conflicts you might expect.

2. Why do you want to raid?
2.a) Is there any particular reason you want to raid with Reprise?

3. What consumables do you typically bring to a raid?

4. What mods do you use and why? Describe how they aid your play.

5. What types of boss encounters are your favorite and why? Give an example.

6. What types of boss encounters are your least favorite and why? Give an example.

7. Beyond why you wish to raid, what goals do you believe a raid should have?  What would your goals be within Reprise, as a main or backup?

8. Blizzard is pushing for a raiding attitude that has greater emphasis on bringing the player and not specifically worrying about the talents or even class of that player, so long as they have a desirable personality. Reprise certainly has some interesting personalities.  So, what do you feel that you, as a player – beyond your class or spec – bring to a raid? (This can be anything)

9. If available, provide a recent WWS or WoL report that you participated in, preferably for a "non-gimmick" fight. Also, please describe your assignment for that fight.

Trialing and Feedback

Provided your application meets a need the raid currently has, it is standard for us to trial applicants before accepting (or denying) them.  Trials may be several heroics, ones selected to better challenge your class, 10 man content within existing 10 man groups, or most likely a raid run with Reprise. We seek to give an answer a week after your first trial at the latest.

1.When is the soonest you could undergo a trial?

2.Are there any trialing restrictions we should be aware of? (Tied to a weekly 10 man, set group for the raid weekly, etc.)

3.Do you have any questions for us? (Please, feel free to ask anything)
