I really dislike Futurama, but we finally got Putricide down on January 31st.

We've been rather busy here at Fordragon's Reprise, but unfortunately your intrepid narrator's computer has suffered some losses. Namely my screenshot folder. Also a lot of lag/disconnects on bosses! Hence why there's at least several boss kill pictures missing here. We tromped our way through the first floor of the Citadel immediately, even taking on Saurfang quite handily. Our mages don't stop dying on Gunship, we have people running into ice gas, but we trudge on.
Plague and Blood Wings have proved to be trickier but our morale is high.

(This was for Keshet, very specifically. In our only real night of attempts we sucessfully downed Yogg 1. Just two more achievements and we get zoomy drakes. Am I excited, you BETCHA.)

Emboldened this week by both spirit...and spirits, Fordragon's Reprise battled once more into the Titan stronghold of Ulduar to vanquish both Freya and her three Guardians as well as the Iron Council once and for all. Much celebration and even more drinking was had as we prepare to plow deeper and faster than ever before.

In the immortal words of Deodan, "live harder than you've ever lived before." We will be taking this with us as we thoroughly penetrate all the way to the bottom of Ulduar's mysterious hardn---hardmodes and our drakes.

If you get my drift.

OR IS IT?
This Sunday, FR put the pedal to the metal and took down hardmode Northrend Beasts and two-shot Jaraxxus. We might have just barely managed the enrage timer, but isn't that what raiding is all about? BUYING THE WHOLE SEAT, BUT ONLY NEEDING THE EDGE!

He's REALLY dead this time, promise! Look at that ghost. Trufax.
Powerful acidic content theoretically found inside the being Yogg-Saron would count for the liquefaction of Saronite. Submersion in this substance might be sufficient to rebind an alloy of titan origin.
And so we travelled deep into Yogg-Saron's lair, the shattered fragments of Val'anyr in hand, with only 3 Wardens to guide us. And Yogg'Saron let out a deafening roar, and Gradar hurled the fragments into the beast's fluttering maws. There was a wailing and a gnashing of teeth, and we only had three lights to guide us from insanity.

In the end, it was over. And it was silent. And in the miasma of the fallen god, there lay the shards, glowing with their own power. Calming. Serene. Gradar knelt and picked them up in his gauntleted hands, the light reflecting cooly against the metal of his armor. We knew what we had to do - bring the reforged shards to the dwarves in the Archivum.

Congrats to Gradar on his legendary mace, and congratulations to Fordragon's Reprise on their Three Lights kill! In true GoG tradition, we will be kicking Gradar out and having the mace take his raid slot now that we have a decent healer in his place.
And so our valiant Fordragon's Reprise were greeted by the highly anticipated 3.2 content patch and what a patch it has BEEN! We have been greeted by new sights, new enemies, and a brand new circle roo---arena to fight our foes in. Changes have been occurring all over the place and no one has been left unspared.

Summer is often a time where raid teams lose focus but Fordragon's remains ever vigilant, ever focused on maintaining our presence in the titan citadel of Ulduar. Not even the trial of the Crusader, a mockery of gladiatorial combat on the footsteps of Arthas' stronghold, can sway us from our goal.

We are far from done, however. Fordragon's has been pushing forward even to the whims of the Argent Crusade, valiantly defeating the enemies being thrown at us so that we might prove ourselves ready to fight Arthas. Val'nyr is almost in our grasp, the Wardens shall all be defeated and Algalon will be forced back to the heavens!
The Crusaders of the Dragonflight (the raid formerly known as Bane of the Betrayer) continue on their mission. We originally came together to venture into the broken world Draenor, hunting down the Betrayer himself, Illidan, high atop the Black Temple, and ultimately defeating him.
We've now set out sights on frozen land of Northrend, lending aid to the Dragonflights with the threats across the great continent. We have also heeded the call by King Wrynn to head to the battle at Winterguard Keep and to enter the dread necropolis of Naxxramas and destroy Kel'Thuzad once and for all.
We have now joined the assault on the titan city of Ulduar, and are making great strides towards our confrontation with the Old God of Death, deep within in the depths of the ancient city.
We’ve finally broken through the outer defenses in the Siege leading up to the great entrance of Ulduar, and have defeated the guardians within the Antechamber.

We have also encountered Freya within the Conservatory of Life and freed her from the corruption of Yogg-Saron.

......to be continued.
There's things that impress me in this world. One of those things is how marshmallows can't be singly eaten. Another is the human spirit.
Third is our raid team.
Our Yogg-Saron defeat came in no more than a couple raiding days, and schoolgirls everywhere sighed in relief. Our victory relied heavily on ancient Ulduar secrets such as "PRESS TEH BUTTAN HARDUR" and "healers staying alive." When it was all said and done, we felt a little wilder, a little more insane. (Well, except Nellenya, she's already titularly Insane.)

It's crazy to me that this last boss is palpably a new beginning to the instance, one of hardmodes and one hour spawn bosses that could decide the fate of our universe. So while Yogg Saron's door has closed, a window opened... uh...somewhere. I've never been good with stuff like this. Either way, we were not content to just rest on our laurels and get drunk like other guilds after a finishing boss kill. What did we do? We partied with some iron dwarves and did Iron Council medium-mode:

Yogg-Saron being defeated means that now we here at Fordragon's Reprise are looking towards hard-modes. Good thing there's so MANY of them! Much in the spirit of our aggressive train-wreckers, we demolished Flame Leviathan with two towers:

How long have we all known one another?

I don't have an actual answer because if it really was a concern to know I'd go back and research the date. But it's something insane like 4 years, going on 5.
Stop and think about that a moment. That's older than my kids!
It's been a wild, amazing time and hopefully fun. We've had some amazing people among our ranks and even more with us now, and even those that come o join us every week. We've lost some, either to life and other more dire things, and all of them have had one thing in common - we're all friends. It's pretty cool to stop and think about it. We spent hours each night hanging out, playing and talking to people we may never see, have seen only once or twice, or included our friends and family in this whole crazy affair. Fortunately, to see us through we all have our dong jokes.
I'm getting chatty, I know. But we've come a long way and the game has advanced in many ways as well. Fordragon's is going strong and Ais will be posting screenshots of our recent accomplishments soon, and Crusade is really starting to come into their own. They too should be posting a slew of screenshots soon.
We're more than just raiding. PVP, roleplay, even just grouping and doing dailies. it's good to be a part of you guys.
Finally, just want to leave you all with something that I think sums us up rather well:
